Just Ride closing?!?

k good, on their myspace it says mood: guilty and that the park is out of order...

Here's what the owner told me in August.

The guys that ran the skate/bike shop stiffed the owner on rent for months. He lost patience with them and told them to leave.

He then had to leave to do a contract job building something before they started moving out of the building, and the guys that ran the skate shop broke in and stole money from the upstairs office and the wireless microphone for the PA system.

Nothing was taken from the skate shop, as it was still there and fully stocked at the time of the break in.

Pretty obvious who did it, if you ask me.



The guys are now spreading rumors that the owner stole a bunch of materials from Lowes to get the park built and that Lowes has finally caught up with him, are suing him, and the state of Indiana has seized the property and shut down the park.

Another version includes something about an asphalt company suing him, not too sure on the supposed details.


I have been searching for a decent and cheap web hosting site so I can get the Just Ride Park website back up, due to the fact that the guys that ran the shop took care of it, and subsequently shut it down to punish the owner, like the fags that they are.

Yeah word on the street is hes stuck in a legal battle with the asphalt company and whichever way the jury swings will determine the outcome of whether the park stays in his possession or not.

There is no credibility at all to that story, though.

so as of right now, the park is still open and skateable? i went like 2 months ago and it was fine.

As of September 16th they were still open full time.

I will call and find out more tomorrow, it's too late to call the owners cell phone and bug him at home.

Its open weekends now friday, Saturday, sunday. The times are 4-9 on friday. noon to 6 and nine on Saturday and sunday. If you come give me a call i go to ball state and would love to skate with some other guys
