Got new skates

just got them yesterday. i rushed to Major Taylor to test them, the whole time I'm driving it looks like the sky is about to piss buckets.

I get to the park, start lacing up the boots, and it starts to rain.

So, I have skated these for about 3 minutes total. Did a few farvs, souls, topsouls, and top torques with the flat stock setup. It was fun, but I have already switched to the red 50/Fifty core frames, riding anti rocker (but may go back to flat). No pics of that setup yet, but since I got screwed out of skating yesterday, I am going to be at Major Taylor today at about 5 PM.

These skates weigh just over 3.5 lbs. each., which is less than half of what my Nemesis and Schrijns weighed. They are very responsive and feel really close to my foot, unlike their clunky counterparts.

Fuck yeah, I'm back, baby!

these are soooooooooooo light, it's retarded. Now I remember what it is like to ride the old Backyard Bobs



I think they are broken in, mostly, and only after an hour and a half. The only other person I have seen with these is Jake Wilkes, he skated(s) them with Fiziks frames and he always kills shit.
