| I'm in the market for some new skates. Right now I'm rolling some old Razors Genysis skates and they make my toes go numb. They are also a little heavy. Before that I had cults and really liked them but but I wanted a bigger negative and they wore down pretty quick. I skated Roces before that and they were pretty good but heavy. I can't skate a flat set up like K2s and don't even want to try.
I'm looking at the Rollerblad Point 8s. But I haven't skated rollerblade brand since boxcars in 97.
Anyone had experience with newer rollerblades or the point 8 specifically?
I also like the look of the Aragon 2s, USD thrones (worried about quality there), and some Deshi skates.
I'll probably continue to skate anti rocker, although being able to roll flat would be great. It looks like I could try it all with the point 8s. | |

| What size do you wear? I have some grey Ch1s for sale, if you're interested. They're great skates, but I'm between sizes, so I can't skate them comfortably.

| 10.5 or 11. I think my current skates are 11. Those are Deshis right? | |

| i never really liked rollerblades there were too stiff and the grooves were too weird, i think the aragons have potential but if you have a big foot the look weird. i've also heard good things about nimh skates. and i always like to support guys like shima and jon elliot who pretty much devoted their lives to rolling and are making it better for all of us. I heard that nimh is going to redesign their cuff system soon, but that may be just a rumor. idk what i'd get right now if i were you, alot of options. | |
