Don't know the album but I like the illustration. The shading is pretty impressive. Is that a gradient mesh. I never did figure those out in Illustrator. One thing I might suggest is cleaning up those hands a little. Art teachers are always focusing on hands.

Yeah Chris it's mostly gradient mesh, I never could get shading down using shapes over shapes
