Kizer Slimline Review Empty
PostSubject: Kizer Slimline Review   Kizer Slimline Review EmptySun Mar 01, 2009 8:40 pm

After rolling this past weekend on my new Kizer Slimline frames, all I can say is "It's good to be riding flat again!"

As you can see in the photo, I'm riding 55 mm Eulogy wheels flat on size Medium frames. My speed and turning ability have returned! I would recommend buying these frames if:

1) You predominantly skate park and
2) You want to roll fast!

While I believe 55 mm flat is a decent set-up with little wheel bite (mostly only on square coping), I would recommend taking advantage of the Slimline's multiple flat-rockering set-ups. For example, a 57 mm / 53 mm set-up would work great by reducing the 2nd and 3rd wheels slightly while maintaining speed!

Try them out...you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to roll them on some concrete bowl set-ups, such as Ft. Wayne, Lawrenceburg, or Florence.

nice review matt...I wanted to try these but I don't think they're for me. In related news I got to try on some carbons at bittercold...they seem like the real deal.
