Cincinnati / Northern, KY Road Trip: Sun., Aug. 22nd!

"Florence Y'all!"...as the famous water tower welcomes you.

Eric and I are planning a Florence, KY concrete skatepark session for Sun., August 22nd. Florence is located in northern Kentucky...not too far from Cincinnati. In my opinion, this is the most well-rounded concrete skatepark within a 150 mile radius of Indy (Ft. Wayne as the 2nd one). The street section is amazing (includes a flat, round rail)...not to mention a great bowl and two shaded shelters! (See photos below!) If we have the time and energy, we most likely will check out another Cincinnati, OH concrete skatepark or the Lawrenceburg, IN skatepark on the way back.

Est. Time of Departure: In the morning....time T.B.A. We need to skate early in order to beat the heat.
Place of Departure: Major Taylor Skatepark parking lot (if other people are going)
Est. Cost: $10 cash per person (for gas!)
