| So yea, i just picked up skating a few weeks ago. bought a pair of old k2 fatty's from a guy for 30 bucks. Things went well till today. landed my first three sixty and after i land my left boot feels weird. i look down and the whole plastic ankle support and backing has cracked and my skates are useless now. That being said, what would u guys recommend i look into getting. im really into skating and i like it alot, just bummed i wasted 60 bucks (skates and new wheels). |

| man I looked for a while but I couldn't find anything at $100 or lower unless it was used on ebay. You're still more than welcome to come and take a look at the free collection after I get moved. _________________ | Chris L. wrote: | | Owen's skatings been on decline for a while..........I'm the only real up and comer left in this town. | The ones I posted are kind of heavy, but are sooooooo comfortable. Like pillows on your feet. The souls have plenty of life left, and the frames are brand spanking new. You'd have to use your own foot pads, wheels and bearings. Or, try some of these: (remember, the skates you destroyed are over 10 years old. Cuffs really do not break like that on newer skates) 2008 K2 Fatty Pro, boot only: $135 (I have these, the cuffs are very strong, skate is very light and supportive) http://www.aggressivemall.com/K2-Fatty-Pro-BOOT-ONLY-p/k2-skate-fp-bo.htm mine: Nimh Brian Shima v. 1, boot only $139 http://www.aggressivemall.com/Nimh-Brian-Shima-pro-boot-p/nihm-boot.htm Salomon ST Pro, bidding is at $50 right now http://cgi.ebay.com/SALOMON-STi-PRO-AGGRESIVE-SKATES-mens-US-10-5-extras_W0QQitemZ260451449832QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3ca41dbbe8&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 |
